I found this the most interesting and inspiring line I’ve heard in a long time. In that talk by Richard Sandler I wrote about where he discusses and shows his street photography, he said he used to regularly bump into Lee Friedlander, Garry Winogrand and Bruce Gilden all pounding the same pavement throughout New York.
Can you imagine your friends, the folks you do photo walks with, all becoming known for their photographs, becoming famous even?
Anyway, he said Garry Winogrand told him to make as good of a photograph as you can because if it’s good, it can only get better. Time makes it better.

All we can do now is make the best photographs of the world where we are today. Then let time have them.
That’s it. Just make the best photographs you can.
